2021 was a wild year in real estate, and one busy enough that I have somehow found myself in Berkshire Hathaway’s Chairman’s Circle - an award given to the top 3% of their global network of over 50,000 agents.
Reflecting on last year, and through my entire career so far in real estate, I consider myself so unbelievably lucky that I have gotten to work with some of the most phenomenal individuals, couples and families, all of whom have also happened to be the most top-tier humans I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.
No matter how I put this, it’s going to sound cheesy, but I mean it genuinely: the purchase and sale of property is one of the biggest life decisions for people, and Toronto’s prices only exacerbate what a massive, life-changing decision it can be. I am therefore consistently humbled and honoured when people choose to take me on that journey with them. It’s been such a tremendous privilege to be a part of such an important moment in my client’s lives.
So thank you to everyone who took me with them on their real estate ride last year (or in the year’s prior). Whether we were friends to start, family, or new acquaintances who became oh-so dear to me, I will never ever take for granted that you chose and trusted me to help you. Any success I have is a direct product of my client’s hard work and success, so here’s to all the insanely smart, talented people just out there absolutely HUSTLING to build a life in this city.
Also, thank you to everyone at Berkshire, and in particular who really took me under her wing and taught me so much last year, all while having her newborn son in tow. You’re a total boss and I can only hope to one day emulate your long and wildly successful career.
