In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

Had an amazing time last week at The Macedonian Open with family and friends. We couldn't have asked for better weather at Angus Glen Golf Club with over 300 golfers at this event supporting The Canadian Macedonian Place Senior's Home! My son Robert ran into Chris Tanev there and talked some hockey too.

June GTA Market Snapshot – More Choice, Modest Gains

📉 Sales Down YoY, Prices Still Soft, Buyers Testing Waters
GTA home sales in June reached 6,243, down 2.4% from last year, while new listings rose 7.7%, offering more selection for buyers. The average selling price fell 5.4% to $1.1M, with a slight monthly dip as well.

🏠 Increased inventory and lower borrowing costs are helping improve affordability, but economic uncertainty continues to hold some buyers back. TRREB notes that stronger U.S.–Canada trade and further rate cuts could help boost market momentum.

➡ Sellers are adjusting expectations, and buyers are negotiating more confidently—signs of a shifting but active market.
