When my client and I first met, she was searching for a rental property. However, the market took a turn, rents went up, and my client had already been in a position where she was flirting with the idea of purchasing.

We searched for the perfect Victorian style home from East to West. We walked into this 1990’s style Victorian on Palmerston, and it was the one. Only problem - there were two other offers on the property.

What I tell my buyers in this market is multiple offers - don’t always mean competition. The two offers had come in on a holiday.

This is why working collaboratively with the listing agent is essential to any deal, by building that relationship we knew what was important to the seller. We also knew banks weren’t open on holidays.

We didn’t rush our offer, we did our due diligence.

My client got her deposit check ready on Saturday morning, a few more offers had come in, a couple hours later - our offer got accepted. Sure, the sellers could have gotten the offers to improve but - we were Solid.

🔑Congrats to my client, I am so happy we were able to find her a great home and we had fun in the process.
