It’s so here is a tip for all you home buyers.

Buying a home is an exciting process and you feel the need to find your perfect home right away.

I get this, I really do. However, when a client asks me to see a specific property, 9 times out of 10 I will recommend that we look at a few properties while checking out their favourite.

You should never limit yourself during a home search so looking at a few different properties will give you a better picture of the overall market and what is available.

I just took out a lovely couple to look at some homes over the weekend. They wanted to look at one particular property but we went to see 5 different homes. This gave them an idea of the type of different homes in their budget as well as different styles(ie stacked town vs trad town).

While viewing the properties I was able to get good feedback of what they liked and didn’t like about each specific property allowing me to hone in on their home search with more detail.

Any good real estate agent will present you options and not try to get you to purchase the first home you see.
