Holiday magic is officially on in Toronto 🎄
Here are some of my favourite festive stops to check out this weekend, tonight and in the coming weeks, perfect for families, friends, or anyone looking to soak up the holiday spirit!
Eaton Centre is a must see right now with tons of Black Friday deals and a fun Disney+ pop up featuring photo sets from Home Alone and The Simpsons. This is a perfect spot for family photos or a fun outing with the kids. The pop up runs through Monday, December 1.
Want lights, music and skating under the stars? The Cavalcade of Lights at Nathan Phillips Square happens tonight, Saturday, November 29, starting at 6 p.m. with the official tree lighting at 6:30 p.m. Enjoy dazzling LED displays, live performances and the festive skating rink, ideal for a cozy family outing.
Looking for something more relaxed but still festive? The Evergreen Winter Market at Evergreen Brick Works is open this weekend starting Sunday, November 30, with handmade gifts, local treats, cozy fire pit vibes, kids activities and live performances, a lovely low key way to enjoy the season together.
For a classic holiday train experience, don’t miss the CPKC Holiday Train in Toronto on Saturday, November 29 at 750 Runnymede Road from approximately 8:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The train also runs across Ontario from November 19 through December 21, so if you can’t make the Toronto stop, check for other nearby towns. Colourful lights, holiday music and joyful vibes make it perfect for families or a fun evening out.
Whether you are after shopping and cute photos, dazzling lights and skating, or cozy markets and good food, there is something festive for everyone.
