In December 2021, we saw a decrease in sales by 15.7% compared to December 2020. We also saw a decrease in new listings by 11.9% compared to the previous year. With sales and new listings activity down, we still saw a rise in housing prices.

🗝A record setting year with 121,712 sales reported. This is up 7.7% from the previous record high set in 2016, and up 28% from 2020.

🗝Record demand for housing was met with constrained supply which led to very tight market conditions and an all-time high selling price of $1,095,475.

🗝Average selling price of $1,095,475 is up 17.8% compared to 2020.

🗝Low interest rates kept the demand for housing very strong.
