Very difficult for all of those involved. Buyers have bought at a set price in good faith. Developers are now being hit with inflationary prices and supply and worker shortages which all causes prices to go up. Developers now can't afford to build at the sold prices but that's also not the buyers fault. A very tough situation.

Some buyers who years ago purchased builds in a housing development north of Toronto are calling for government intervention after they were told they would need to fork over $175,000 above what was agreed upon in contracts before their homes will finally be built.

First Capital has submitted OPA and ZBA applications to the City of Toronto to redevelop 895 Lawrence Avenue East, beside the Shops at Don Mills. The WZMH Architects-designed proposal has 17 and 22-storey residential towers rising from a mixed-use podium.
