The September numbers are out! 📊

Home sales in the GTA saw an 8.5% increase compared to last year as more buyers took advantage of lower mortgage rates following the Bank of Canada’s September rate cut. With borrowing costs easing, many households found more breathing room in their monthly payments, helping to boost confidence and activity across the market.

That said, buyers also had plenty of options, which kept average prices negotiating slightly downward. The average selling price dipped 4.7% from September 2024.

Overall, prices are holding steady month-to-month, and the market continues to adjust to changing affordability and supply levels.

🏡 The average home price in the GTA now sits at $1,059,377.
