Rental Report for the first quarter of 2013:

More listed, more leased, more money!

2013 had a strong start for rentals, over 25% more leased this quarter compared to last years first quarter.
Rent rates went up for all condo/townhouse sizes.
The number of available units increased more than the number of units rented, if this continues we might see lease prices level off.

Even though overall sales were down in the GTA we are once again seeing an increase in prices compared to March 2012.

The average price in the first quarter of 2013 was $508,066 – up by 3.2 per cent compared to the first quarter of 2012.
These numbers also include the slight increase in condo prices.

Signs of slowing down? I think not.
