2025, in reflection.
This was a year of deliberate decisions, not loud wins.
We completed a multi-year exit strategy by selling our last owned F45 studio, fully stepping out of a brand we had been unwinding from intentionally. It wasn’t emotional — it was strategic. We paid attention to timing, energy, and what no longer fit, and we exited while there was still leverage.
At the same time, I continued shifting out of day-to-day operations and further into advisory work, spending less time managing and more time helping founders understand what they’ve built, what it’s worth, and what their real options are.
Real estate remained a core part of the year. I had the privilege of guiding many clients through meaningful home transactions — buying, selling, and navigating decisions that carry real financial and personal weight. In a shifting market, the work required patience, strategy, and trust. Those partnerships mattered.
I joined Sage Real Estate this year because it aligned with how I work now — thoughtful, design-forward, and rooted in experience. After ten years in the industry, the right environment mattered.
We also built and fully operationalized our Airbnb business, adding a wellness retreat in Muskoka and taking it from concept to a functioning asset with real demand. That required systems, discipline, and ex*****on.
Much of this year’s work happened quietly: refining strategy, formalizing frameworks, and building the foundation for what comes next.
As we move into 2026, there will be new projects and new challenges as markets continue to shift. I’m looking forward to forging ahead — focused, prepared, and clear on what matters.
