One of my favourite race days of the year: the Canadian Grand Prix 🇨🇦. Some friends and I had a good run of years flying in and out of Montreal for the race.

My ABSOLUTE favourite year we actually had above-the-paddock (end of the pits) access.

To all those going to Circuit Gilles Villeneuve today, I hope you enjoy it as much as I always have 👊🏽.

When I walk into a home, I can see things you might not...

This is my mental checklist anytime we head into a listing–

🚩 Water marks on the ceiling
🚩 Cracks in the walls or foundation
🚩 Sloping or slanting floors
🚩 Sagging roof (and I go to the rooms under that roof)
🚩 Carpets in places carpets shouldn’t be
🚩 Cracked sidewalks or driveway (especially if they slope towards the house)
🚩 Single pane windows
🚩 Discoloured water
🚩 Outdated wiring
🚩 Signs of mold (and signs of cover up)
It’s always recommended to have a professional inspection done before buying to reveal any hidden problems.

But an experienced broker can perform a first-pass and help identify potential issues that might not be immediately obvious.

There’s *so* much more than meets the eye when we go house hunting.
