I had a conversation with a client that I haven’t been able to stop thinking about. She mentioned the incredible amount of guilt she had for not being able to be in 3 places at 1 one time and how her parents got the short end of the stick.

Guilt is something that keeps coming up on conversations I keep having with my clients about downsizing their parents.

If this is you, my DM’s are always open.

I start every day the same. Wake up, turn the kettle on, take the dogs out then journal.

I started journaling during the pandemic and have kept the habit going. On vacation, I journal, on work days, I journal and on my days off I journal more.

In the last 6 years I have probably missed a handful of days and I can tell you, I feel off on those days.

I journal gratitude, things I would love, stream of consciousness you name it, I journal it and it makes me feel grounded and calm.

So if you asked me what keeps me sane, I would say journalling.

I couldn’t believe my client did this for me. I was so touched I almost cried.

I love helping people and never expected this in return.

I am so grateful we met and that I can now call her my friend!

I think we are leaving the era of leaving your children money in your will and I think it’s a good thing. Do you agree?...

I am not trying to sell you anything right now. I just don’t want to see your house sit because you chose the wrong number to list it at. If you’re even a little curious what your home is actually worth, I am happy to chat in my DM’s. No pressure.

Pricing your home too high is not a good strategy and don’t let anyone tell you differently.
