There were 333 home sales after an average of 28 days on the market and 1,695 active listings at the end of February.

The average price for a home in Mississauga was $1.04 million in February 2025, according to the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board. That’s down 0.7 per cent or $7,074 from January 2025 but up 4.4 per cent or $43,692 compared to February 2024.

Economic threats from the United States are reverberating in the Canadian housing market, pushing some prospective homebuyers back to the sidelines after they had waited for months for borrowing costs to drop.
