A huge shout out to the folks at iDrinkCoffee.com who made my beloved espresso cappuccino machine new again. At first I thought it was toast. A new would cost a few thousand. Wasn’t going to happen. I’d resort to a stove top. These guys, particularly, Patrick my coffee Hero and Jim , breathed 10 more years of life into this piece of coffee art for a song. When your clients become your friends and want to drive your car. I sold this beautiful family’s home recently and said goodbye as they drove to their new Ottawa home. Can’t wait to visit. A big thank you to this father and son team who are all about grand wood works. Moses and Elia from , managed to acquire quite a few 30’ Douglas Fir ties that were in the Welland Canal for 80 years. One of those is now a refurbished beam in my home. It immediately warmed the feel of my room. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. If you’re looking for beams, freshly milled walnut floors or want the most beautiful Fir-wood privacy fence, I could not recommend this dynamic duo more highly. It was a happy coincidence meeting them. I understand they will be building log cabins in people’s backyards in the spring.
