I was born in Mozambique, but have lived in Toronto most of my life. When not helping people buy and sell homes, I enjoy spending time with my son, Jack, in the 'county'! September was another cautious month across the GTA, with buyers taking their time and fewer homes changing hands.

The bigger story? Fewer new listings also came to market, which means inventory tightened even as sales slowed. Prices also softened compared to this time last year.

For buyers, there may still be opportunities to negotiate in some areas.
For sellers, pricing and presentation continue to be especially important in a more selective market.
