This homemade ginger-turmeric wellness shot is my go-to during cold and flu season. Packed with vitamin C from oranges and lemon, plus the natural benefits of ginger and turmeric, it’s a simple way to support your immune system every morning.
✨ Take 1 portion first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.
Ingredients:
• 4” fresh ginger
• 1 tbsp turmeric
• 2 oranges, peeled
• 1 lemon, peeled
• 1/2 cup water
• 1 tsp olive oil
• 1/4 tsp black pepper
Directions:
1. Add water, ginger, turmeric, oranges, and lemon to a blender.
2. Blend for 60 seconds.
3. Strain through a fine sieve.
4. Add black pepper and olive oil.
5. Shake well and refrigerate.
