Deputy Mayor Denzil Minnan-Wong will be coming to Fenside Park this weekend to meet and chat with local residents. Come say hi and chat with him about any local or city-wide issues.

When: 9-11am, September 12, 2020
Where: North end of Fenside Park, 30 Slidell Crescent
Rain Date: 12-2pm, September 13, 2020

COVID-19 Public Health and Safety Measures will be observed. If you have been or are currently experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home. Masks will be mandatory and you will be required to stay six feet apart from all attendees outside of your household or social circle.

When you arrive, head over to Denzil's tent at the North end of the park, by Roywood Drive.

We are all feeling the stress of COVID-19 - although we all react in different ways.

If you're struggling, please reach out to one of the many resources available to help.

A few key tips from various sources include:

-Remember to keep connected through phone, email and social media. If you're looking for some over the phone company, please let us know. We have many volunteers interested in reaching out.

-Try to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Eat as well as you can. Try to get some exercise in your suite. There are lots of apps and online programs available.

-Be kind to yourself and to others. This is a hard time.

-Try to create a structure to your day.

-Limit how much you watch the media and be sure to listen to or read reliable sources
-Let us know if we can help.
