CALGARY REAL ESTATE MARKET UPDATE | SEPTEMBER 2026

Calgary's market remained relatively steady in September, but the bigger story is what's happening by property type.

🏠 1,650 homes sold
📈 New listings increased from August
📊 Sales-to-new-listings ratio: 49%
🏡 Months of supply: just under 4 months
💰 Benchmark price: $566,700

But Calgary isn't one market.

Detached homes remain in balanced territory, while higher supply is creating more buyer-friendly conditions for row homes and apartments.

Year-over-year price changes reflect that difference:

🏘️ Row homes: -8%
🏢 Apartments: -6%
🏡 Detached: -1%
