My word for 2024 is “collaboration.”

It perfectly encapsulates my ethos in real estate.

This profession calls for a lot of independence and, don't get me wrong, I thrive on that!

But I've also come to realize the incredible value of pulling together, of sharing insights and experiences.

Real estate is an ever-changing field.

It demands adaptability and a steadfast adherence to core values, which for me, are rooted in integrity and dedication.

So when I decided to partner with Lewis + Company Real Estate, it was a decision driven by the alignment of these values and their collaborative culture.

This collaborative approach is what makes the real difference.

I've got this mantra: self-care isn't selfish, It's survival.

And that "me time" we often brush aside?

The whirlwind of work, family, and endless to-dos will drain us if we let it

It's all about finding those pockets of "me time" to recharge and keep rockin’ it!

My secret weapon to de-stress is RUNNING!

With the beat of my favourite tunes, it's a great way to clear my head, connect with myself and recharge my mental battery. 💯

Morning runs? They're like coffee for the soul, motivating me for the day.

And evenings? Well, they're my chance to decompress, sort through the day's chaos, and find my centre again.

Listen, this isn't about adding more to your to-do list.

It's about reclaiming your own space amidst the chaos. Trust me, you don't need a permission slip to put yourself first.

So, if life's got you running in circles, remember: self-care isn't a reward, it's a requirement.

Do open houses really sell houses??

YES! 🙌

Of course, you will get the nosey neighbour trying to sneak a peek or potential buyers just starting their search, BUT they actually do work!

It is common for buyers to go and see it on their own to not bother their agent (even though we are HAPPY to show it).

Or they may be coming in for a second time to confirm that they love it.

We definitely recommend hosting an open house the first weekend it hits the market to create a buzz! 💥

Shoutout to all the single parents out there! You're doing amazing!💪

I have a toddler at home and a traveling husband. When he's gone, I find it quite hard to manage work and home life, especially because a lot of my work is done outside "regular work hours".

This means prioritizing family (but also work sometimes), lining up babysitters and ensuring everything is prepared for when the babysitter gets there.

Luckily we have some great sitters that my son loves.😍

I give props to all the single parents out there managing one kid, or multiple kids!

You're killing it.👏👏
