The kindest thing a senior can do for their family is to deal with their surplus stuff ahead of time.
That’s the premise of a lovely little book with a rather unfortunate name, “The gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning.”
despite the title, it’s actually quite life-affirming.
It reminds us that our stuff is our responsibility. And that decluttering now has benefits in the immediate and the hereafter.
