1️⃣ 1️⃣ years ago I was expecting my final baby … a GIRL!!!

🩵 I was blessed with two prior natural births with my boys, carried the exact same - cravings and all!

🎀 Her due date was around June 20th 2015.. and boy was I ready for a little daughter to love to the end of the world!

💦 My water broker approx 4 weeks early… I laid in the hospital while the docs tried everything to hurry up this little girl. (You can’t go too long once your water breaks).
From 10am until 6pm there was very little improvement and at 6:15 the doc said “we need to prep for a c section”. Ok, doc- whatever you think is best.
I’ll never forget him chatting with me at the end of the bed when a strong contraction happened. Then another. And another. He was so delighted. We were on the right path to have a baby!!! He said “I’ll be back in about an hour to have this baby!!!”

Before he pulled the curtain back, I yelled “she’s coming”. The nurse ran and caught her! I’m not sure I even pushed once. Kendall Ruby 💕 was here!

I am SO proud of the young lady she is. I am SO blessed she has Auntie .evanoff.realtor that she looks up to higher than the sky! She shows unconditional love to everyone she comes across.

I’ll never forget the first time Jenn said to me over the phone, “I don’t think it’s anything BUT I feel a lump on my breast.” My first response was “I’m sure it’s nothing sis, but call your doctor asap!”

Flash forward 6 months later and we are celebrating her completing 20 rounds of radiation! What we might not always share is the fear, the pain, the sleepless nights, the what “ifs” and the tears.

When Jenn and I went to the earlier on in this journey the lady suggested that Jenn join their cancer support group, I said out loud (without thinking) “can I join too?”. I suppose the saying is true “you have a built in best friend”. I just couldn’t fathom she (not us) had breast cancer and that we couldn’t literally do it together.

Sis, you are the yin to my yang and quite the silent fighter!
