This July, Lots of Play showed up in parking lots across Bradford, Toronto, and Scarborough, and turned them into something special. For a month, these spaces were filled with workshops, performances, and hands-on art, all just waiting for people to walk in and make it their own.

And they did. We saw the same faces show up at different sites just to find us again. We saw kids get messy with paint and grown-ups rediscover their inner child. We watched strangers turn into collaborators, one tile, one t-shirt, one mural at a time.

To our programming partner Vibe Arts () and their incredible artists, thank you for pouring so much heart into every workshop. To Toronto Arts Foundation () and Caezar Adesina (), thank you for creating collaborative art pieces at each site that gave communities something to build together, literally.

This one meant a lot to us. See you next summer 💛

We’re celebrating the one year anniversary of opening the Redway Dog Run in Leaside with a HalloWOOF costume party — and you’re invited 🐶

Since opening in 2024, this beloved community space has become a hub for dog owners and their four-legged friends.

Doggos are invited to come dressed in their best costumes for our first-ever Halloween Costume Parade. What to expect:

🎭 Dog Costume Parade (2 PM sharp!)

The event will be hosted by Gurdeep Ahluwalia, host of The Pooja and Gurdeep Show on CHFI, and his dog, Coffee. This will be a great opportunity for local residents to come together as a community and connect.

🐾🎃 It’s time to get spooky, Barrie! 👻🐶

We’re opening a new dog run in Barrie with a Halloween-themed costume party.
Calling local doggos to strut their stuff in the first-ever Halloween Costume Parade. Every pup will receive a prize and a professional photo to commemorate the day!

Here’s a peek at the amazing time we had at Bradford Patio last month!

We were thrilled to see our colorful, outdoor space being enjoyed by families and friends alike from the Bradford West Gwillimbury community. We wanted to create a space where local residents could gather, play and connect with their neighbours. The Mayor (Town of BWG Mayor James Leduc), Deputy Mayor, and heroes from Fire Station 1 also joined in on the fun, making the day even more special.
