🚨The $130,000 HST Rebates in Ontario Just Got BIGGER!🚨
As of March 25th 2026, the Ford-Carney housing plan has officially expanded the HST rebate to INCLUDE nearly every new home buyer in Ontario!
What’s Changed?
* NO MORE “First-Time Buyer” restriction.
* INVESTORS QUALIFY: Applies to primary homes AND investment rentals.
* HIGHER CAP: The full rebate now extends to homes up to $1.5M.
The Price Brackets:
* Up to $1.5M: Max rebate of $130,000 (Combined Fed 5% + Prov 8%).
* $1.5M - $1.85M: The rebate gradually decreases.
* $1.85M & Over: You still qualify for the $24,000 “floor” rebate.
Deadlines:
* Contract Signed: Between April 1, 2026 - March 31, 2027.
* Construction Start: By Dec 31, 2028.
* Completion: By Dec 31, 2031.
This is a strictly limited one-year window. If you’ve been sitting on the sidelines, the government just gave you a $130k reason to get back in.
