This week’s update from the Schoolhouse 👇

First day of flooring went down earlier this week and it was a whole process - spent the day unboxing every single board and hand-sorting them into piles. The ones with more character (knots, color variation) got set aside for under the millwork where they’ll be hidden, and the best-looking boards made the cut for the main living spaces.
Learned SO much about flooring through this project. If there’s one thing I can talk your ear off about now, it’s the ins and outs of selecting flooring - there are way more things to consider than you’d think 😅
