🏠 5,057 homes sold through TRREB — similar to August 2025
📉 24,482 active listings — down 11.3%
🔑 Buyers had an average of 4 homes to choose from, creating more time and flexibility to negotiate.
As families get back into their routines, we expect market activity to pick up through September and October before slowing into winter.
For buyers, today’s market offers choice, reasonable borrowing rates and negotiating power. As confidence returns, competition and bidding wars could return too.
