Sharing my recap of the latest Toronto market stats for September:

Similar to previous months, September sales activity in Toronto eased compared to a year ago, with activity down 7.1% and down 12% from August.

However, new listings were up strongly from a year ago (up 44.1%), providing a much-needed boost to our supply levels. But even with sales down and supply up, the average selling price still managed an overall increase in September, rising 3.4% from August to $1,119,428. This also marks a 3% increase from the same time last year.

With activity expected to pick back up in the GTA this fall, those considering making a move should secure a pre-approved mortgage to stay ahead of evolving interest rates and work with an agent deeply ingrained in the local market.
