The Ontario government is giving hst rebates up to $80k for first time home buyers buying new construction. Here’s the thing… the percentage of new construction buyers that are first time home buyers in minuscule!! This should apply to everyone. This is a flashy headline with no real impact if you ask me. Perhaps a step in the right direction but we need a lot more than this.
