Good design is often shaped by the details people do not immediately see.

Wind is one of them.

Wind conditions can influence whether a sidewalk feels comfortable, an entrance feels welcoming, an outdoor amenity space gets used, or whether the public realm supports everyday movement.

That is why technical studies are not just a box to check in the approvals process. When brought in early, they can help shape better decisions around massing, setbacks, building orientation, podium design, landscaping, and the relationship between the building and the street.

For developers, consultants, and design teams, the value is in thinking about comfort before it becomes a constraint.
