Not every real estate listing means exactly what it says. š
Some of the most common listing descriptions are really just Realtor code words. They can give you a clue about the property⦠but they definitely donāt tell you the whole story.
āHandyman specialā could mean a few weekend projects ā or a full renovation. š
āBack on marketā could be nothing⦠or it could be something you definitely want to investigate. š
And āpriced to sellā? Well⦠arenāt they all? š
The point is: donāt judge a property by the listing description alone.
Some homes that sound scary on paper can actually be great opportunities, while some āmove-in readyā homes may have issues you wonāt see in the photos.
š Thatās where knowing how to read between the lines matters.
š Save this for your next home search.
š And Realtors ā what code word did I miss?
