Sometimes being a good realtor means doing the little things that make someone else’s job easier. 🤍

Last week, another agent wanted to show one of my listings, but our schedules weren’t lining up.

So I offered to show the property to their clients myself.

Their first question? Would I be taking part of their commission?

Absolutely not.

Because at the end of the day, my responsibility is to my seller. And that means doing everything I can to make sure their home gets the exposure and opportunities it deserves.

If I can open a door, accommodate a showing or make the process easier for everyone involved, why wouldn’t I?

Real estate doesn’t have to be complicated by egos or competition. There’s room for collaboration, professionalism and doing what’s right for the people who trust us with their homes.

Sometimes going above and beyond is as simple as opening the door. 🏡

Friend to friend, you deserve a realtor who cares about more than getting you to closing day. 🤍

Someone who remembers the little things. Who asks about your family, your dog and the life you’re building.

Someone who listens to what you’re saying, but also pays attention to what you might not have thought to ask.

Someone who will tell you when a house isn’t right, even when you’ve already fallen in love with it.

Someone who makes you feel comfortable asking a hundred questions, because buying or selling a home is a big deal, and you deserve to understand every part of it.

I’ve always believed that real estate is a relationship business first.

The transaction might last a few months, but the relationships? Those are the things I hope last for years.

You deserve to feel like a person, not a transaction. And that’s exactly how I want my clients to feel.

Sometimes the most important thing I do as a realtor has nothing to do with selling a house.

Last week, two showings were cancelled on one of my listings. And while that might seem like a small thing, for my seller, it was upsetting.

Because when you’re selling your home, every showing feels important. Every cancellation can leave you wondering what’s wrong, whether buyers are interested or if something needs to change.

So I picked up the phone.

We talked through what was happening, what it could mean and why there was no reason to panic.

And just like that, she felt better.

I think sometimes we forget that buying and selling real estate is emotional. It’s personal. And people deserve to feel supported through all of it.

It’s not always the big negotiations or the closing day that make the biggest difference. Sometimes it’s simply picking up the phone. 🤍

That’s the kind of relationship I want every client to have with me.

Unpopular real estate opinions that I will absolutely stand behind. 👀

A beautiful kitchen doesn’t automatically make a home a good investment. An ugly bathroom can be changed. A bad location can’t. And sometimes the smartest home to buy isn’t the one that gives you butterflies the second you walk through the door.

My job isn’t to convince you to fall in love with a house. It’s to help you look beyond the finishes, understand the value and make a decision that still feels good long after you get the keys.

And yes — if I think it’s the wrong house, I’ll tell you.

That’s the kind of realtor I’d want in my corner, so that’s the kind I choose to be. 🤍

People don’t fall in love with square footage.

They fall in love with Sunday mornings in the kitchen. The view they’ll wake up to. Summer nights by the water. The backyard their kids will grow up in. The table everyone will come home to.

The bedrooms, bathrooms and square footage matter — but they’re not the whole story.

Because when you’re buying a home, you’re really choosing the backdrop for the life you want to live there.
