Some people think there's only one spotlight in the room. They think the only way for them to shine is if someone else stands in the dark.

This isn’t confidence, this is insecurity.

Someone elses success will never be a threat to you unless you think it so. There is no need to pull anyone down because secure people know their moment isn't tied to anyone else's.

Those with real success will never discredit someone else to justify their own worth.

You expect the people who doubted you to leave.

What you don't see coming is losing the ones who actually stayed. Your friends, or mentors, the people who never left your side. And it's not because they stopped loving you, sometimes people just don't have the capacity to join you for where you're headed next.

No one teaches you how to let go of someone while still loving them.

But honesty is respect. Even if it’s changing how relationship has to be now.

You'll lose people you thought were forever. and some you never expected to stick around will surprise you.
