Big News for First-Time Home Buyers in Canada!
The Canadian government has introduced a new measure to help first-time buyers enter the housing market. Under the new rules, eligible buyers purchasing a newly built home may receive a GST rebate of up to $50,000.
Here’s how it works:
✔️ Homes priced up to $1,000,000First-time buyers may receive up to $50,000 back through a full GST rebate.
✔️ Homes between $1,000,000 – $1,500,000A partial rebate will apply, gradually decreasing as the price increases.
✔️ Homes over $1,500,000The rebate does not apply.
📌 Important: This applies only to newly built homes, including new houses, townhomes, and condos purchased from builders.
