Maggie Horsburgh, Realtor

Maggie Horsburgh, Realtor From buying your first to selling your last, let’s talk about how I can help in your journey ahead. https://TheRealEstateGals.com/

Most of my clients are happy families, but I also have the skills to handle the transition for divorcing couples. From your first to your last, the process of buying or selling a home is about so much more than a transaction. It’s about beginning a new life together, raising a family, starting a new adventure, creating memories and sometimes starting over. Real estate is more than just a business

to me. It’s about service and service is my passion. It’s my goal to make every single client feel like they are my only client. Real Estate has ALWAYS been about relationships for me. I have invested countless hours learning the art of real estate and maintaining the respect of my clients. Getting to know them, and building lasting relationships is really part of who I am. I celebrate with a full heart when a client calls to cancel their listing because they have decided to save their marriage. I weep with my clients when they don’t get the house of their dreams, and rally around them to encourage them to wait for “their” home. I listen to family dramas, squabbles and stories just like a counselor. I honestly enjoy spending time with them and being part of their family. What else do you need to know about me?

Divorce is survivable. But conflict? Conflict is expensive.

I've seen it up close - both in my own life and in the work I do every day. And what I've learned is that the biggest cost of divorce is rarely the legal fees.

It's the price of unresolved conflict.

In this month's blog I'm getting honest about what litigation actually costs in Ontario, why so many people end up spending more fighting than the thing they were fighting over was even worth, and what the alternatives actually look like.

If you're navigating a divorce - or someone you love is - this one is worth reading.

We have a bedroom. We have a bathroom. We have PARTS of a kitchen.

And that is what we're working with. 😅

Dan and I officially moved into the Ugly House - which sounds more glamorous than it is, considering we are very much still living inside a construction zone. There are rooms that are done and they are BEAUTIFUL. And then there is… everything else.

Everything else is a lot. But we just couldn't take it anymore - we just had to move in.

But here's the thing. We're sleeping here, making coffee here, doing life here - dust, chaos, and all. There's something kind of amazing about watching this house become a home one room at a time.

Even if this chapter of my life is very much called… ahhhhhhh.

Anyone ready for an updated tour?

Picture a quiet morning. Coffee in hand, sun coming through the windows, nowhere to be just yet.

That's the energy of 51 Westcliff Way.

This is a home that was made for living. Mornings that feel slow and easy. Afternoons that end up at the pool because why not, it's right there. A dining room big enough for all your favourite people around the table, with coffered ceilings that make the whole thing feel just a little more special.

And the best part? It's all on one level. No running up and down. Just an incredibly well designed main floor that flows exactly the way a home should - with a fully finished lower level waiting for the moments that need a little more space.

This is the kind of home you settle into and never want to leave.
