Today, on National Indigenous Peoples Day, we recognize and celebrate the rich cultures, traditions, languages, and generations of knowledge that continue to shape communities across the North and throughout Canada.
As a proudly majority First Nation-owned company, NVD is honoured to work alongside Indigenous communities through meaningful partnerships, community investment, and opportunities that create lasting benefits for current and future generations.
We respectfully acknowledge the traditional territories of the many First Nations where we live, work, and operate, including Kwanlin Dün First Nation, Ta’an Kwäch’än Council, Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in, Little Salmon/Carmacks First Nation, the First Nation of Na-Cho Nyäk Dun, the Metlakatla First Nation, and the Lax Kw'alaams First Nation.
