Here’s the real estate stats for January 2022 ⬆️

Some key points to note 📝…

• sales last month were down 25% from December’21 and decreased 26% from January’21

• Single-family homes listings decreased 31% from 2021. We haven’t listings this low since 2008

• Avg. house price in January ‘21 sat at $352,185 while in January ’22, the avg. house price hit $400,000

• Low inventory + an abundance of buyers = opportunity for sellers to achieve maximum value for their homes

• Condos show more modest movement in prices, a 12% increase in price from January ‘21.

• With the strong likelihood of interest rate increases in March, it could be a motivator for sellers and buyers to jumpstart their plans in 2022.
