Big news for interest rates!

The National Bank of Canada is calling for an
emergency rate cut after Trump announced new tariffs
on Canadian imports (25% on most goods, 10% on
energy). Canada hit back with 25% tariffs on U.S.
goods.

These tariffs could slow the economy,increase
inflation, and push unemployment up-so economists
say the Bank of Canada should cut rates ASAP to
soften the impact.

They’re suggesting a big 0.50% cut
before March, with more cuts to follow, which could
mean lower mortgage rates ahead.

This could be a huge opportunity for homebuyers and
homeowners-stay tuned!

In response to US President Donald Trump‘s tariffs, Manitoba premier Wab Kinew announced that Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries will stop selling American alcohol- joined by Ontario, BC ,PEI, Quebec and Newfoundland.

Starting Tuesday, February 4 MBLL will remove US products from liquor Marts and halt all future teacher orders. Kinew call the tariffs an
“attack on Canadians” and encouraged consumers to support local breweries and distilleries instead.

The province will introduce additional measures to support Manitoba businesses and workers, and the Manitoba US Trade Council will meet on Monday to discuss the impact of the tariffs and the province’s response.

✨ Time for a Girls Night Out ✨

Had a lovely time helping a fellow dancer step into her new place, and open a new chapter of her life in the very highly sought after, beautiful, and welcoming Sage Creek !

For years we shared a stage together dancing 💃🏼 In folklorama and now I’m excited to have been a big part of her life in a more personal way ! 🏡

This particular transaction required a lot of negotiation skill and specified knowledge of new condo board developments . In the establishment of a condo board there are so many things too look out for when shopping that directly affect a buyers cost of ownership in the long run .
