Rockport Investment Group (“RIG”) is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our team who will contribute to the overall success of the Office.

Role Responsibilities:
• Coordinating and implementing inbound marketing strategy through content creation and management for all digital platforms including social media, blogs, newsletters and websites.
• Develop and execute a social media strategy, analyzing and interpreting metrics.
• Attend relevant events to facilitate content creation.
• Monitoring and ensuring all interactions on social media channels align with brand integrity. Staying current on industry trends and developing strategies on new and upcoming platforms.
• Providing guidance to other departments for multimedia project development and coordination when necessary.
• Generating reports for analytics, metrics, and digital campaign results.
• Overseeing all aspects of company database, including training, troubleshooting and ongoing development.
• Producing and editing video content for use as external marketing material.
• Maintain and monitor the website and social media platforms by sourcing/creating and scheduling regular posts
• Monitor online presence across social media platforms, tracking key hashtags and tagged posts.
• Maintain a Customer Service mentality when responding to customer queries, questions and concerns in a timely fashion.
• Work with graphic designer to produce new internal/external promotions, communications, and marketing collateral (e.g. brochures, presentations, videos, etc.)
• Work with sales reps and subcontractors to coordinate information in co-branded marketing materials.
• Oversee the creation of monthly marketing materials as dictated by the Annual Marketing plan, including but not limited to digital and print ads, web features and social media promotions.
• MailChimp newsletter and coordinate design with Graphic Designer.
• Ensuring adherence to established brand equity in development/management of all digital content, including outsourced work to vendors.
• Other duties as assigned.

Your Skills:

• B.A. or Diploma in Marketing and Communications.
• Minimum 1+ years within a business environment in marketing and/or communications role.
• Detailed orientated, creative thinker, strong planning, organization and ex*****on skills.
• Demonstrated project management, content development, creative design.
• Experience with Google Ad Words, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter ads.
• Proficient in Microsoft office, MailChimp/CRM, WordPress applications an asset.
• Energetic, self-motivated, strong collaboration and team work skills

Role Responsibilities:
• Oversee construction projects until completion
• Manage the budget and estimate costs
• Determine the necessary equipment, materials needed
• Ensure supplies and equipment are ordered and delivered according to schedule
• Prepare reports regarding the job status
• Resolve any problems that may arise
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
• Evaluate risks
• Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects, and key team members of the project team
• Oversee the safety performance of all on-site workers and subtrades to ensure that all workers are following safe work practices and procedures
• Obtain the appropriate permits and licenses from authorities for construction sites

• Post Secondary education in project management
• Previous work experience managing budgets for construction projects would be considered an asset

Role Responsibilities:
• Processing of contract related payables and tracking of corresponding contract documents for accounting
• Interact and work with multiple departments to manage budget updates and project forecasts
• Prepare operating reports and variance analysis for the Senior Management Team
• Advise on potential budget reductions and use benchmarking data to highlight potential operating inefficiencies
• Review and correct coding for all job-related costs
• Participate in operations meetings to provide guidance and feedback to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Effectively communicate with project managers regarding contract documents, change orders and other contract modifications, approvals and any additional services related to billing and payables
• Identify and resolve inconsistencies and issues with contracts and purchasing department or project managers
• Maintain documentation of budgetary policies and processes
• Continually monitor and review accounting processes and procedures and recommend changes as appropriate to improve internal controls and/or efficiencies

We are currently seeking a Safety Manager to join our team. You will contribute to overall success of the company by ensuring that on-site workers are following all safe work practices and procedures. You will need to have excellent communication skills and a proven ability to manage multiple high priority tasks and provide strong leadership. This position will require visiting our various construction sites throughout Winnipeg, Manitoba.

What You Will Do:

Assist in the creation, development, implementation, and maintenance of company safety policies including Safe Work Practices / Safe Job Procedures / Daily Attendance / Progress Pictures and the Site Emergency Response Plan
Oversee the safety performance of all on-site workers and subtrades to ensure that all workers are following safe work practices and procedures
Advise on required PPE equipment needs and implementation
Complete safety supply requisitions, daily attendance records, and ensure WCB Compliance
Manage and conduct site orientations, and toolbox meetings with all site staff and contractors on a regular basis
Monitor the proper use of heavy equipment while educating employees on its proper use
Report and file any near miss, injuries, or occurrences of theft. Implement corrective action and investigations accordingly
Manage site inspections and work as a liaison with Workplace Safety and Health
Provide safety reports to Head Office
Identify causes of past incidents and advise on making improvements in safety standards
Provide internal training of WHMIS and MSDS
Ensure all products and materials for MSDS are tracked and dated
Maintain records of inventory and inspection schedules for equipment
Recommend external safety training as needed
Assist with company COR Certification application and program management
You Will Bring:

2+ years of experience in a similar role; preferably in the construction industry
Extensive knowledge of current Safe Work Practices
Knowledge on current COVID-19 workplace protocols
Proven ability to work effectively with diverse personalities in a tactful, decisive, and resourceful manner
Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
Strong work ethic and a positive team player
Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
Job Types: Full-time/Part Time

Compensation: Wage will be based off experience and qualifications.
