📊 The Winnipeg housing market showed some interesting shifts in May!

🏡 1,707 homes sold in May, which is 4% lower than last year, but for the first time in 2026, sales were above the 5-year average.

📈 Active listings reached 3,739, up 2% from last year and slightly above the 5-year average, giving buyers a few more options.

💰 The average detached home price hit $477,313, making it the highest May average price ever recorded in Winnipeg.

🏢 Condo buyers continue to find opportunities, with the average condo price at $294,703, down 1% from last year but still 5% above the 5-year average.

👉 What does this mean?

✔️ Sellers are still benefiting from strong prices, especially in the detached home market.
✔️ Buyers have more inventory to choose from than earlier this year.
✔️ Well-priced homes continue to attract attention despite slightly lower sales activity.
