We are seen as the leaders in a "team approach" to project delivery. Foundation Pros of Winnipeg Inc
We are based in Winnipeg and willing to serve a wide customer base depending on the season or the reason we could travel far and wide
Foundations are one of the most important parts of a structure IF not THE MOST important part
the reason they suffer so much damage is likely the reason that we
never see the other side ! sooo... we just see the inside of the foundation and never really take the time or initiative to 2nd guess whats happening out there !! or what goes on below the ground on the other side of your basement wall and are sometimes scared to think of it and don't want to go there ? so the eaves trough overflows during heavy rains OR even a moderate rain because you look up and see stick hanging or the trough and sometimes leaves and some of us even have little plants growing up there ! hey ? it doesn't take much in some areas .. I used to live in a house with oak trees everywhere they grow so tall and can pollute a trough in a month ,So what I am getting at is then a little rain and your trough pours over into a couple of typical places ,you now the ones you look out your window and see the locations during these rains
Now don't run out there and bank a bunch of stuff against the wall cause you cant reach that area with your ladder ! or do not have a clue who has a ladder that long and dismiss it cause it stopped raining anyway !! banking stuff up on the ground to divert the water only add to the issue it might look good on paper if you stop there .. the water pounds this ground area down it fills with water and over the winter if freezes like a glacier in the rocky mountains beautiful they might be ! but you do not want this scenario unfolding next to your foundation wall ya I know some of the highest recommended advisory's mention pile a bunch of gravel there to help it drain ! lol are you familiar with this abbreviation LAUGH OUT LOUD this has caused more costly issues around basements then not .. the best thing is to not have any part of your building in the ground ,,, but , when you do the math on building a structure 60+ percent of the cost of the basement is for the foundation portion of the upper structure so may as well spend another 40 percent and have extra living space ya ? that is exactly why you have a basement under your home ! cause of the cost plus everybody else is doing it and if I wont put a basement under my home it might not sell its true ! so you have a basement and once in awhile you check the corners for a "wet spot" or fear the worst when you walk down during a light flickering thunder storm and you know what you might have the best Foundation waterproofing membrane in place and the worlds best sump pit and big O type weeping tile to your drainage but if the power goes out what happens to all that water in your sump pit?
