We offer a wide range of services to cover many personalized requirements. We will:
• Perform house checks to ensure your home is safe and secure
• Ensure the thermostat setting matches the home temperature
• Check that your fridges & freezers are cold
• Bring in your mail, newspapers & flyers, eliminating the cost of putting a hold on your mail or having your mailbox overflow with papers
• Water indoor & outdoor plants at your direction
IN-HOME PET CARE:
In-home pet care is a popular alternative to kenneling your pets while you are away. Your pet is able to stay in the comfort of its own home with their familiar surroundings, greatly reducing their stress during your absence. In addition to your Home Watch services, we will:
• Provide fresh food & water each visit
• Scoop litter boxes, refresh bird cages or other pet needs
• Offer companionship to your pet
• Advise you of any concerns about your pet
Our sitters are carefully selected, have provided a Criminal Records Check, are competent and reliable, fully bonded and insured. Unmarked vehicles are driven for your protection. However, you may see our office staff driving a vehicle decaled with Houseguard. Please feel free to give us a wave and say hello! All inquiries and bookings may be conveniently made by telephone or email. We accept most major credit cards, Interac E-Transfers & cheques. When you reserve service, we will ask you to complete a Houseguard Service Agreement. This will provide us with the information to follow up in case of an emergency, select the sitter most suited to your needs and payment method most convenient to you. Once assigned, your sitter will contact you to arrange an in-home visit. They will review the care required and pick up the key at no extra cost to you. When you book service again, we like to assign the same sitter, subject to availability, since he or she has provided care previously and already knows your particular needs.
