I wasn’t going to post this afternoon’s kayak but these otters 🦦 were so darn cute. I’ve never seen anything like it. And of course the beauty of September was worth the post. Thank you Donna for changing your appointment to accommodate my crazy schedule so we can have the opportunity to enjoy all that nature has to offer. 🤗🥰🍁🍂🦅🐢🦦

Had such a fun time yesterday at World Rivers Day in Carman. It was a poker derby so you sign up, they give you a pirate name, I was Two-Toes Mable Tipsy, Donna was Silver Tongue Sally and she spoke in pirate almost all day so that suited her and Rhonda was Blackhand McStinky. Was a beautiful river to kayak and a nice kayak launch. 5 stations to get cards. I started out with a 2 spades, ended up getting 3 out of the 5. Rhonda won second place which was $100 to spend in town so she treated us at the Legion. Her mom and aunt from Carman joined and their other two friends who didn’t kayak. Watched the Bombers win and then went to Syls for a bite to eat. Such a great day. Will get more people out next year. First prize was a kayak which a young boy won. Thanks to Rhonda and Donna for the invite and decorations. They go all out!
