🍂 AUTUMN INTERIOR TRENDS 2026 🍂

This autumn, interior design is moving towards warmth, texture and timeless elegance.

Cream tones, off-whites and chocolate browns are still very much in, but we’re seeing a shift towards richer, darker woods and warmer colours.

🤎 Warm autumn tones
Think toasted orange, earthy greens, chocolate brown and other warm, natural shades. If you want to introduce colour into your home, my advice is to do it through cushions, throws, curtains and tableware. These are easy to change when the seasons change, without having to completely redesign your home.

🛋️ Chunky & textured furniture
Soft, chunky sofas with beautiful textures are a big trend this season. I believe the focus is moving away from simply choosing a colour and much more towards how a piece feels and the textures it brings into a room.

🌳 Darker wood
We are gradually moving away from very light oak and introducing deeper, richer brown wood tones. They create a warmer and more sophisticated atmosphere while still keeping that natural feeling.

💡 Soft, atmospheric lighting
Lighting is becoming increasingly important. Instead of relying only on strong ceiling lights, think about soft lighting from lower levels, floor lamps, table lamps and indirect light to create a cosy atmosphere.

🛏️ Calm & natural bedrooms
For bedrooms, I would keep the main colours neutral — cream, white, off-white and natural tones. Add colour through bedspreads, cushions and throws so the room remains calm but can easily be updated.

✨ My biggest trend for this autumn?

Texture rather than colour.

Natural materials, soft fabrics, warm woods and tactile surfaces are what will make a home feel luxurious and inviting this season.

And I’m especially excited because I’ll be visiting Morocco in the next couple of weeks. Morocco has traditionally been known for its beautiful, vibrant colours, but I’m seeing a move there too towards more neutral and natural tones.

I’m really looking forward to seeing what new influences, materials and colours I discover — and bringing some of that inspiration back to kk Home & Deco. 🤎🍂
