We are so lucky to be situated in the heart of Yorkshire, facing onto Shipley Glen and being a short distance from gorgeous, historical towns including Ilkley, Saltaire and Haworth! ☀️

The Bradford Pennine Gateway Trail connects Ilkley, Saltaire and Haworth. The trail is 18 miles long, and allows you to explore the gorgeous scenery that Bradford and Yorkshire has to offer! 🥾 The trail opens on the 19th of September! 🌟

The top of Baildon Moor has been transformed by an arrangement of structures, making sounds captured from the wind! 🌟

The Harmonic Fields Exhibition is on from Wednesday 9th - Sunday 13th September 12pm-6pm, on top of Baildon Moor by the Trig Point! 💛

The Countryside Centre is hosting activities across the weekend with the Bradford Culture Company and a selection of chosen artists. 🎨 Shuttle buses from the Countryside Centre can take you to The Harmonic Fields, or alternatively take a short walk around the moorland to check them out. Shipley Glen Tramway is also open across the weekend. 😊

So why not take a trip to see The Harmonic Fields and catch a glimpse of the gorgeous views from the top of Baildon Moor?! ☀️🌻

This week’s room spotlight is on Heritage, which faces onto Shipley Glen, with a side view towards the model village of Saltaire.

The room is inspired by the local history of the area with pictures showing the historic Victorian leisure on Shipley Glen! 🌿 Heritage has a king sized bed and a window seat overlooking the views, alongside an en-suite shower room, with a walk in shower and large mirror. 🛀

This past week I’ve been busy tidying up the front garden of Bracken Hall, planting my new window boxes, tidying the hedges and maintaining the flower beds! 🌺🌷It’s so nice for guests to enjoy the views or relax in the front garden especially with the warmer weather picking up! ☀️
