After much consideration we have decided to give this year's autumn open day a miss.

Life feels very busy. We have been running these days for 10years now and we feel a break is due....

We will be doing Carols in the Barn and our Lambing Open Day as usual but for now, we are pausing the autumn one.

We hope to have a few 'Tractors at the cafe' afternoons for those of you with children who would love the opportunity to sit on a tractor....keep an eye on social media HoleintheHedge_GH

Lambing shed full!

Yesterday we had a fantastic lambing day with 700 visitors, thanks to everyone who came out - on what turned out to be a verrrry cold day! - and of course thanks to our wonderful volunteer helpers!

The sheep decided that was the day to really get started.....with 26 lambing over the 24hour period!! (52 more lambs!!!!)

Great work by the HoleintheHedge_GH team too!

A fabulous day with 11 year R children on the farm today.
Our focus was habitats. Finding out where things live and why!
We made bird feeders and planted bulbs then went down to our Forest Schools site to continue our habitat hunt!

You don't realize how stressed you are by something until that thing is taken away/relieved.

Today we enjoy knowing that our family farm is a little more safe for the future than it was yesterday.

Don't get me wrong, the asset value of our business still means we need to plan carefully for the future. But, for now, our shoulders are lower and our spirits are lifted with today's news.

Thank you to all who came to Carols in the Barn tonight. Especially those who had to follow extreme diversions to reach us!

We had a great night and hope you enjoyed your evening too.

We raised £151.88 for Banbury Food Bank.

Carols in the Barn will be affected by road closures. Please allow extra time and find a diversion.

We are once again, incredibly frustrated by a lack of notice and a sudden road closure by HS2. Their lack of joined up thinking and communicating with us has hit us hard.
