🍕 First Friday at Hurstwood = Pizza, People & a Proper Catch-Up 🙌

Every first Friday of the month, we order in from Nell’s Pizza and get the whole Hurstwood team together, a chance for different departments to mix, chat, and unwind in a more relaxed setting.

And it doesn’t stop at pizza… once we’ve eaten, we usually finish with a quiz to keep the laughs going and the friendly competition alive.

Hurstwood Holdings has submitted a planning application for a new six-court indoor padel facility at Lune Business Park, Lancaster, as the latest addition to the group's £40 million mixed-use scheme.

The proposed 15,000 sq ft warehouse-style building will be designed and built by Hurstwood Holdings, before being fitted out and operated by P4 Padel, a new venture founded by Harry Walker, following the agreement of a five-year lease.

Sam Ashworth, Chief Executive Officer of Hurstwood Holdings, said: "Padel is one of the fastest-growing sports in the country and we are so pleased that we are able to bring this exciting sector into our portfolio, working alongside an innovative and exciting new operator. P4 Padel is an ambitious new challenger brand with a clear vision for creating accessible, state of the art venues and we are delighted to be working with Harry and his team on their first site."

The padel centre will sit adjacent to gym operator TNT Elite and Lancaster Climbing Wall, further strengthening the leisure and amenity offering at Lune Business Park, where Phase One is now fully let and occupied by a range of national and independent businesses.

Phase Two of the scheme will comprise 18 speculative units ranging from 1,153 sq ft to 3,260 sq ft, with combination options of up to 14,000 sq ft available.
