💙 Celebrating 65 years of marriage 💙

Tomorrow marks a very special milestone for Alpha Housing tenants Millie and Jack Henderson, who will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary.

The couple have been together for an incredible 73 years and have called Agherton Grange home for the past seven.

To mark their Blue Sapphire Anniversary, the team at Agherton Grange surprised Millie and Jack with an afternoon tea this week, bringing everyone together to celebrate the happy couple.

Congratulations to Millie and Jack on 65 years of marriage. We hope you have a very happy anniversary tomorrow and many more happy times together.

A big welcome to our new tenants at Parkside Gardens!

Today we handed over the keys to our newest homes, and we’re looking forward to seeing tenants settle into their new community.

Parkside Gardens provides much needed affordable homes in North Belfast, giving more people the opportunity to enjoy a safe, secure and high quality home.

A big thank you to John Finucane MP, who recently visited the development to see the new homes, and to Jamdac Developments for their partnership in bringing this development to life.

Congratulations to all of our new tenants. We wish you every happiness in your new home.

🧸 What a fantastic day at the Teddy Bears Picnic in Grange Park, Omagh!

Alpha Housing was delighted to work alongside Radius Housing and Arbour Housing to support this wonderful community event, bringing local families together for an afternoon of music, activities, fun and plenty of smiles.

The Teddy Bears Picnic forms part of the community engagement taking place through the Department for Communities and the Housing Executive's Housing for All Shared Housing Programme, supporting our Edenwood shared housing development in Omagh. Events like this help bring people together, build new friendships and create stronger, more connected communities.

A big thank you to everyone who came along and to Fermanagh and Omagh District Council for making the event such a success.

We’re pleased to share some positive news.

Alpha Housing has secured a new £10 million funding facility from Triodos Bank UK. This investment will help us deliver 120 much needed new social homes across Northern Ireland, giving more people and families the opportunity to access a safe, affordable place to call home.

It was great to celebrate the reopening of McManus Court recently with tenants, colleagues and everyone who helped make the project a success.

Following a £1.07 million investment, McManus Court has been transformed with brighter communal spaces, improved fire safety measures and a range of upgrades to help ensure it remains a safe, comfortable and welcoming place to live.

A big thank you to Hetherington Painting & Building Contracts for delivering the refurbishment works, and to everyone involved in bringing the project to completion. We would also like to thank our tenants for their patience and understanding throughout the works. We hope you enjoy your newly refurbished home for many years to come.

We were delighted to welcome pupils from Sunnylands Primary School, Carrickfergus to Northland Court for a special intergenerational planting activity.

The morning brought together younger and older generations to plant, chat and learn from one another. It was lovely to see friendships forming, stories being shared and smiles all round.

Partnerships like this play an important role in creating stronger communities. Intergenerational activities can help reduce social isolation, build confidence and understanding and provide valuable opportunities for people of all ages to connect and learn from one another.

Thank you to Cheree, the staff and pupils from Sunnylands Primary School, and our tenants for making the morning such a success.

We are already looking forward to welcoming Sunnylands back in September for more activities together.
