I’ve wanted to build houses since I was 7 years old and some of my earliest memories are being on site with my Dad but my actual journey to doing my first deal solo was crazy.

It took me 7 years to do my first development and doing all of those jobs prior are the only reason I had the confidence to go and do it. Your experience, knowledge and being around the right people are everything when it comes to making it in Development.

If I knew very little about development…

I wouldn’t worry about raising money first.

I’d learn how to find deals.

Specifically:

Off-market sites with planning potential.

Then I’d learn how to appraise them.

That skill alone can put you ahead of most people in property.

The housing market doesn’t just need more homes.

It needs more builders.

Right now, too much supply sits with too few players.

That creates control and control slows delivery.

Small developers change that.

We move quicker.

That’s how supply grows.
