May has been a very busy month for us!! THIRTY TWO turnovers, FOUR Intercare Cleaning and Companionship visits, FOUR Intercare Cleaning and Companionship cleans, FOUR domestic cleans and ONE deep clean!! Plus nearly ONE HUNDRED loads of washing, drying, folding and bagging up!!
🖤 This month we said goodbye to Becky and John so it was pretty stressful trying to find replacements!! After advertising for help on Facebook I had a response from Lesley from Neat Retreat Cleaners. We will be helping eachother out when we need help. We also met up with Ellie from Ellie's Elite Cleaning and Claire Marie who will also be helping out in future! We will hopefully be adding other local cleaners to our group so that we can all help out when we need time off or get overwhelmed with our workload!! We were contacted by some other local cleaners but some didn't turn up and a few were unreliable so we will continue the search.. feel free to get in touch if you know anyone who would like to help us out!!
🖤 Over the past few months I've been helping Erika and Jonathan set up their Airbnb in Durham and was set to manage the property when they move to Malta. After all the hard work Jonathan decided that he would prefer to have a member of his staff from his b&b in Durham meet the guests upon arrival to vet them and see if they are they type of guests that he would want staying at his property before they were allowed to enter. That's not something I was comfortable with so unfortunately we parted ways. I wish them the best of luck in Malta
🖤 This month Amirah officially joined Interhohost and will be working with me on weekends and during school holidays. She has helped out in the past so I know she will do a great job!!
🖤 I've just got home from an amazing four days in New York.. while I was away Lesley took over and got some fantastic feedback from my clients! Claire Marie did the turnover at the cottage in Esperley and did a great job maintaining the hot tub.. I'm so thankful to have them helping!!
🖤 Last week I answered an advert on Facebook for a housekeeper at an Airbnb just outside of Durham.. after giving the client some advice on how to get started I passed him on to Lesley.. she has already done a clean for him and I'll help out if she needs me
