Sometimes a refurbishment begins sooner than expected.

Following a burst pipe and flooding at our client’s Portishead store, our team attended the site to assess the damage and carry out a detailed Matterport survey.

With remedial works already required, we took the opportunity to redesign the store in line with the client’s latest internal specification, coordinating the new layout, finishes and flood-affected areas.

Once the space was fully dried and prepared, the refit could begin — transforming the damaged store into a refreshed space ready for its next chapter.

Every successful refurbishment starts with understanding the existing space — and when working with a listed building, getting those details right becomes even more important.

We recently carried out a comprehensive measured survey to capture the existing building accurately, providing the foundation for the next stage of the design process.

From there, our team can develop detailed proposals that balance the client’s requirements with the character and historic significance of the property. 🏛️

Working with listed buildings also means navigating additional planning considerations. We assist with the preparation of drawings, supporting information and Listed Building Consent applications, helping to demonstrate how proposed alterations respect and preserve the building’s historic fabric.

Following several design revisions and close consultation with the landlord’s design team, we successfully finalised these bespoke entrance portals as part of a modernised shopfront.

Every detail was carefully considered—from the initial concept and technical development through to manufacture and installation—ensuring the finished entrance met the landlord’s requirements while creating a striking, contemporary welcome for customers.

We’re back on site and making great progress on another exciting commercial fit-out. 🔨📐

Taking pride of place within a busy shopping centre, it’s great to see the designs and plans starting to become a reality as the space continues to transform.

There’s still work to be done, but everything is coming together nicely and it’s already looking fantastic. 👏

We had the pleasure of designing and installing this interactive wall for one of our valued clients, bringing a completely new feature into their retail space. 👷‍♂️📐

This was something a little different for us and presented a new challenge for the team — combining the physical installation with interactive hardware to create a feature that is both functional and engaging.

From working through the initial design and technical requirements to coordinating the installation on site, it was a great opportunity to expand our capabilities and deliver something outside of the ordinary.

We’re never ones to shy away from a challenge, and it’s always rewarding to see a new idea go from concept to a fully functioning feature within the finished store. 🙌

One of our team is out on site carrying out a roof survey, using drone technology to get a clear bird’s-eye view of the building and surrounding area.

Drone surveys allow us to safely and efficiently inspect roofs, hard-to-reach areas and existing building conditions — all while keeping our feet firmly on the ground. 📐

The high-quality imagery captured gives us a detailed overview of the property, helping us identify key features, understand existing conditions and gather the information needed for the next stages of a project.
