Planning from Every Angle

Most construction problems don’t start on site. They start months earlier, with an unclear brief, a missed survey detail, a late decision, or the wrong strategy from day one.

We’re delighted to welcome our keynote speakers, Andy Clarke and Delme Thompson, who’ll unpack exactly why, with real project examples covering:

Getting the brief, budget and programme right before design even starts
The planning risks that catch people out, listed buildings, conservation areas, evidence gaps
Where planning permission and Building Regulations overlap, and where people confuse the two
The pitfalls, delays and unexpected costs that come from cutting corners early.

📍 Quy Mill Hotel, Cambridge, CB25 9AF
📅 Tuesday 1st September, 6:30pm to 9:00pm
